The Club
The Morgantown Conservation Club is located on 40 acres in the rolling hills of Morgan County, Indiana. The club was founded in 1953.
For security purposes, the Morgantown Conservation Club is a gated facility for members only, with the exception of 3-D archery shoots.
Club Rules
Any member that gives gate lock combination to others (non-members) will have their membership terminated.
Members are responsible for locking gate behind them when entering and leaving club property.
Members are responsible for and must accompany their guests at all time. (except scheduled archery shoots)
Members are responsible for removing their trash from club property.
Vehicles should stay on main roads whenever possible. Parking allowed on grass during club functions. Absolutely no motorized vehicles allowed on archery range. (Except range caretakers)
No horses, ATV’s, or dirt bikes allowed on club property (ATV’s or golf carts may be used for club organized work).
Camping and campfires allowed in designated areas only (fire rings)
Members must obey lake rules (posted at lake) and Camping rules posted at campground
No hunting allowed.
The taking of herbs, such as ginseng and yellow root is prohibited.
Any member that goes on to adjacent properties from club property must submit a letter of permission from that landowner.
No swimming or ice-skating allowed (Mandated by liability insurance company)
During the weekend of a scheduled archery shoot, club property will be closed from 6:00 am Friday until 7:00 pm Sunday to allow needed time for target set-up and removal.Archery workers will secure gate during this period. (See archery shoot schedule)
Members must have their club membership card with them (anyone on club property may be asked, by any club member, to show their membership card
NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED ON CLUB PROPERTY
